Ron Hornaday , Jr., No. 33 Camping World Silverado, Qualified 1st, Finished 2nd:
"We did some hard racing out there for sure but our Silverado is in one piece, can you believe that? Ron Hornaday brought a truck home without a scratch. We might take this one next week to Texas. This is just unbelievable. They keep bringing me great trucks week in and week out. In the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) you have to run hard every lap and this proves it. Skinner pitted and look at him, he finished back in the top-five.
"The way we are going to beat him is just to out-race him as hard as we can. We are doing everything we can on our side.
"Any time you can sit on a pole and run second to a guy like that (Busch), it is a great day. He had an awesome Silverado too. Man, this is fun. This is what racing is all about.
"You know, I hated this race track and I learned how to drive it when the tires wore out. You have to have a truck like Rick Ren (crew chief) gives you. This is a lot of fun racing.
ON TAKING BACK POINTS LEAD BY FOUR POINTS:
"That is ok for now, but after Homestead is when I will be jumping up and down. I am sure Skinner will get it back next week and I will try and get it back the week after. This is what NCTS racing is all about, just having fun and hard racing.
"Hats off to NASCAR and Craftsman. To have to great teams battling and changing the points lead each week is unbelievable. I am so proud of my guys. We were terrible yesterday. It showed good but we were wearing our tires out after 10 laps. Rick Ren and I talked after watching Cup qualifying and we made the right calls and our truck was awesome.
"Kyle Busch, what an awesome Chevrolet teammate. I just asked him if I could lead the first lap. Everybody thinks that is funny but the third place guy can get a good suck off there at the start sometimes. I got in the corner where I got enough air off of Skinner to stay in front of him. Busch was coming with a full head of stream and I heard him lift and let me lead the first lap. That is why I let him go and lead for a while. I didn't mean to let Skinner go, but he got by me too. Unbelievable day for our Camping World Chevrolet. We only put two tires on, I am not sure who put four on but that two just made us a little too tight at the end."
ON HOW HARD IT IS TO HOLD UP A WINDOW NET UP:
"It is almost impossible and he did it, I saw him for almost eight laps. I will tell you what, Kyle Busch is Kyle Busch and that is why he just rode the top and let me go by. He had that thing sideways with one hand; he must have had a [knickers] knob to be able to do that with one hand. My hat is off to him. I was telling the guys that hey, his window net is down, he is holding me up. I have to passed him. He hit the yellow at the right time, but he must have done it for eight or ten laps."
