Starr on Atlanta Motor Speedway:
"Atlanta is such a great place to race. I love the way the race track is laid out. It's different from the other 1.5-mile tracks we go to. The track is a little roomier, and you can race in three or four grooves there. I like it, but I have never been able to put together a really strong run there. There have always been different circumstances that have kept us out of the top five. Earlier this year, I had a great truck at Atlanta, but we struggled with getting it fast enough. We finished 15th, but this Red Horse Racing Team is so much better than that. Jamie Jones (crew chief) and the whole Red Horse Racing team have worked really hard on our 1.5-mile track program this year, so I think we will only be better at Atlanta this time around. With all their hard work, hopefully, we can get past any of those circumstances keeping us from a top 10 finish at Atlanta this time around. The racing is always exciting at Atlanta and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series has always had great races. And the finishes are always incredible at Atlanta. I'd love to be part of one of those finishes this year. Hopefully, we can put a good run together and finish in the top five."
Red Horse Racing Goals for the Final Four Races of the 2006 Season:
"We know we're not going to win the championship this year, but we definitely want to be in the top five when it is all said and done. Right now though, we're still focused on winning races. We want to win races, and if we can't win - we want to do everything we can to get a top-five, top-10 finish. If we do that these last four races, the rest will take care of itself. I'm so proud of what this Red Horse Racing team has accomplished this year being a first year team together, but there is still more we want to accomplish. We want to win races still and we want a good points finish. But we're not going to be points racing. If we have the opportunity to go for it, we will. And if something happens, so be it. But our focus is what it has been all year - to win races. Hopefully we will win at least one of these four and finish the season in the top five."
* Starr will be making his 162nd career start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this week at Atlanta.
