Final IROC Race: "One of the best things about winning the championship last year was to be able to compete in the IROC series this season. It is a very short season in those cars, but I have really enjoyed getting to know the Signore family and running those IROC cars. Jay, Barbara and George have all been more than kind to each of us drivers. They really put a lot into making the IROC cars a spectacular show and giving Crown Royal the recognition for sponsoring the series. It has been a great learning experience for me. The cars are a lot slower than I thought they would feel like, but they are a ton of fun to drive. I learned some things this year in those cars that I would do differently if I ever get the chance to run them again. It's wild to combine all those champions from all these different series, whether it is open wheel or NASCAR, and we all have really different driving styles. We also have really different personalities. The combination works for those four races, it would be interesting to compete with them in a full time series. We may even learn some things from each other...but would it be their way or ours?"

End of Season: "This season has flown by. It seems like just yesterday we were in Daytona for the test and then back again for the season kick off. There are times it feels like it was taking forever to get to the next race and then other races you can't even remember. At this point in the season everyone is really tired and ready for it to end. Then you have about two weeks at home and you are ready to race again. By the time Daytona rolls around next year, we are all ready to get back to it."

Notes:

* Hamilton will be racing Beavis in Atlanta.

* In the spring Hamilton kept his three-race streak alive by finishing first in Daytona, second in California and third in Atlanta.

* After taking a provisional, Hamilton had to make an unscheduled pit stop at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March on lap 36 for a right rear flat tire. He was awarded the "lucky dog" and with a timely pit stop moved up several spots in the pits. Hamilton even fought his second gear getting stuck on restarts, still finishing third in the World Financial Group 200.

* Hamilton is going to attempt to qualify and run the Nextel Cup Series race in his BHR Dodge, that ran earlier this season in Indy, in Atlanta.

Multi-Teams: "We have been thrashing all week to get another truck done for this weekend in Atlanta. I think that we have a good strong group of drivers at BHR and adding John Mickel this weekend will add to our competition level. He brings a lot of experience from overseas and I think will have a good showing at Atlanta. We tested here, in a truck and a Cup car, so we have a good basis to start with. Everyone knows that high groove in Atlanta is my favorite, so we'll see if we can keep it in the same time zone again."
