DRIVER: DENNIS SETZER (Qualified 4th)
TEAM: No. 85 Morgan-Dollar Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado
YOU GUYS PICKED UP A LOT FROM PRACTICE, WHAT DID YOU DO? "Well, we never got to make a mock qualifying run in practice. We knew we could be faster and knew the truck was pretty quick. The truck was a little free, but pretty good overall."
HOW DIFFERENT WILL IT BE TONIGHT? "Well, we knew we'd be a little loose on sticker tires, so I think we'll be even better on long runs tonight. The truck will gain a lot of grip under the lights. I think we'll be good."
DRIVER: KRAIG KINSER (Qualified 9th)
TEAM: No. 47 U.S. Army Silverado
HOW DID YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR LAPS? "I think it is definitely a good start to the race. Once the sun goes down hopefully it will tighten the truck up a bit and will be good for the race. I just want to make it to the end. I honestly can't wait to race here at night, I am really excited, and am ready to go."
DRIVER: ARIC ALMIROLA (Qualified 21st)
TEAM: No. 75 Spears Manufacturing Silverado
HOW WERE YOUR QUALIFYING LAPS, AND WHAT DID YOU WORK ON IN PRACTICE? "We worked on our Spears Manufacturing Silverado during practice this morning, and the crew got it to where I am going to be comfortable for tonight's race. It was just free off during our qualifying run, but things should go our way tonight during the race."
DRIVER: RON HORNADAY (Qualified 25th)
TEAM: No. 33 Kevin Harvick, Inc. Silverado
ON QUALIFYING AT THE ATLANTA MOTOR SPEEDWAY: "I always race better here than I qualify. I flat footed it the whole way around, but we'll see our Chevy Silverado in Victory Lane. The guys changed and tried a bunch of different set-ups during practice and we found what we needed for tonight."
DRIVER: KYLE KRISILOFF (Qualified 28th)
TEAM: No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports Silverado
WHAT WAS YOUR APPROACH TO QUALIFYING TONIGHT? "I had the No. 15 ditech.com/Krud Kutter Chevrolet floored going around. It was just a little bit tight, but we should be alright for the race tonight. The guys made a bunch of changes before qualifying to try to help the problems we were having in practice. I'm looking forward to running well in tonight's race in front of Billy's hometown crowd and our many sponsors."
DRIVER: MATT CRAFTON (Qualified 26th)
TEAM: No. 88 ThorSport Racing Silverado
WHAT WAS YOUR APPROACH TO QUALIFYING TONIGHT? "Wide open. The truck actually drove really good, I am looking to go fast during the race, and be good on the long runs. I am really looking forward to running here at night, last spring we had some issues with the carburetor, and had to come in and change that under the green flag, but I just love racing here at night. Hopefully it will be good on the long run, and our Menards Chevy will be fighting at the finish."
DRIVER: KERRY EARNHARDT (Qualified 14th)
TEAM: No. 13 ThorSport Racing Silverado
HOW DID YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR LAP? "We were pretty good, we had a lot of changes this week, starting with the crew, we have Steve May being the crew chief. I also got some help from some of my resources from Dale Earnhardt, Inc. with Tony Jr. and Rob Fuller with the shock package on the truck. We have made some big jumps in the first few races this season, and I was able to flat foot the entire qualifying run, and before I could never do that. I am looking to have a good run tonight, and maybe our #13 ThorSport Silverado will be in for an exciting finish."
DRIVER: MIKE BLISS (Qualified 23rd)
TEAM: No. 16 Xpress Motorsports Silverado
HOW DID YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR LAPS DURING QUALIFYING? "We were terrible. I kind of expected that we wouldn't be that good qualifying because we never seem to be that good when we have to run wide open. We do better when we have to lift, but our trucks are built to race. During qualifying, they just have too much down force. We will just have to wait and see when the green drops, after about ten laps we should know.
