DiCarlo on Racing at Atlanta
"I have been watching a lot of video and speaking to several veteran drivers about getting around Atlanta Motor Speedway. Of course, the first thing you hear is how unbelievably fast the track is followed by how much fun it is to drive because of the multiple grooves. I'm looking forward to the first practice session so that I can get comfortable and begin learning the track. In our first Camping World Truck Series race we came away with a top-20 finish and we have realistically set the same goal again for this weekend at Atlanta. Mainly, we just want to give our sponsor, Great Clips, a good showing and solid performance as we begin this endeavor into a new series."
Crew Chief, Randy Nelson, on Performance Expectations at Atlanta
"We are going into this like we do any other race -- to qualify well and run to best of our ability. We are here to compete, not just show up. Some people said they were surprised how well we ran at California but we weren't. We expect to be able to contend week in and week out. This track is the type of place that Gabi has excelled at so there is no reason, given the equipment that we have under her, that she shouldn't be in the thick of things."
