2025 NASCAR Truck Series Championship 4 grid set

Just one point separated four drivers in Martinsville's Round of 8 elimination race on Saturday, with Kaden Honeycutt besting Layne Riggs for the final transfer spot on a tiebreaker. Meanwhile, Corey Heim, who was already locked in, secured yet another victory in the most dominant Truck season we've ever seen.

Meet the four drivers who will face off for the 2025 championship next weekend at Phoenix Raceway:

Corey Heim -- No. 11 Tricon Garage Toyota

Best championship result: 2nd (2024)

2025 season stats: 11 wins; 18 top fives; 20 top tens; Average finish of 5.2

Driver Notes: Heim has had a dominant season, shattering a win record that has been standing since the 1990s. He has led over 1500 laps, and is in a completely different universe when his stats are compared to his title rivals. Heim has also been here before, making the Championship 4 in both 2023 and 2024 as well.

Ty Majeski -- No. 98 ThorSport Racing Ford

Best championship result: 1st (2024)

2025 season stats: 0 wins; 9 top fives; 17 top tens; Average finish of 10.2

Driver notes: The only representative for Ford, the reigning series champion is hoping to be the first driver to go back-to-back since Matt Crafton did it (also with ThorSport) in 2013-2014. Majeski is also winless this year, and only made the finale by a single point, but he certainly knows how to win at Phoenix.

Tyler Ankrum -- No. 18 McAnally-Hilgemann Racing Chevrolet

Best championship result: 8th (2019 and 2024)

2025 season stats: 1 win; 8 top fives; 15 top tens; Average finish of 10.7

Driver notes: This is Ankrum's seventh consecutive year as a full-time driver in the Truck Series, but 2025 is the first time he has made it all to the final round. He is also the only representative for Team Chevy, and snapped a six-year winless streak earlier this year. Of note, his team will not join him in the Championship 4 on the owner's side, losing out to the No. 34 Front Row Motorsports Ford driven by Layne Riggs.

Kaden Honeycutt -- No. 52 Halmar-Friesen Racing Toyota

Best championship result: 19th (2024 while part-time)

2025 season stats: 0 wins; 3 top fives; 13 top tens; Average finish of 13.2

Driver notes: Honeycutt started his first full-time NCTS year with Niece Motorsports, but was let go in the middle of the season despite the fact that he was one of the few drivers set to make the playoffs on points alone. He signed with a different manufacturer for 2026, so his current team chose to release him mid-season. Around the same time, Halmar-Friesen Racing lost its driver Stewart Friesen due to a serious injury, and so, the driver-less team and team-less driver joined forces. He also made it all the way to the Championship 4 without winning ever winning a Truck race in his young Truck career.
