DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 1, 2002) - The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) announced Friday the 2003 schedule for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series ninth season will feature 25 races, starting Feb. 14 at Daytona International Speedway.  The series will end Nov. 14 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Lowe's Motor Speedway joins the schedule for the first time in 2003.  Bristol Motor Speedway and Mesa Marin Raceway, charter tracks when the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debuted in 1995, return to the schedule.  Martinsville Speedway adds a second date in 2003, increasing to 12 the number of races held in conjunction with NASCAR Busch Series, Grand National Division and/or NASCAR Winston Cup Series events.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, with all 25 events airing live on the Speed Channel, will visit 23 tracks in 16 states in 2003.
