This Saturday's NASCAR Xfinity Series race saw a crash that damaged William Sawalich, Katherine Legge and Kasey Kahne's Rockingham race early. In the aftermath of the clash, Joey Gase Racing owner Joey Gase posted to X, venting his frustration with Sawalich.
Around 50 laps into the race saw Kahne and the Joe Gibbs Racing driver fight for fourth place, but soon there was a third car added to the equation as they approached Legge in the No.32 Chevrolet. Sawalich made contact with Legge's car, resulting in her spinning out and slamming into the wall and hitting Kahne's No.33 Richard Chldress Racing Chevrolet in the process.
It didn't take long for Joey Gase to take to X.
"And this is why this Joe Gibbs driver is 24th in owner points. Sad. @katherinelegge was doing a hell of a job," he posted, criticising the move that put his driver in the wall.
Legge finished 38th, and was open in her comments about who was at fault.
"I'm fine," she told FOX's Bob Pockrass. "I'm just exacerbated, you know. I think I must have been really bad in a previous life or something because it's a bit unlucky.

"I mean, there was not much I could do then. I just got taken out by Sawalich. So it is what it is in that situation."
She continued, detailing what led to the contact.
"I mean, I'd given the inside lane to whoever had just gone past me and I thought we were gonna finish the corner, but he just moved up the racetrack and understeered straight into my left rear. So not much you can do."
When asked how much of a challenge the weekend had been, Legge responded:
"You know, I was settling in and actually we were doing great. I think the car wasn't the car that I was used to driving in practice yesterday, so it took me, you know, 20 laps or so to get used to it.
"But then we were just hanging with the pack there and I was thinking, 'okay, I'm getting experience and my goal was just to finish,' right?
"And then when you get taken out and you get hit like that, there's literally nothing you can do. So I don't have a disappear button on my steering wheel."
