You have participated in NASCAR's all-star event two times. How much fun is it for you considering it's a dash-for-cash event?

"It's a lot of fun because it is an all-star event. For me, it's been very rewarding because I've had to race my way into the event by winning the Winston Open and the No Bull Sprint. Winston puts on a great show and to be a part of it is a privilege for me. I just hope I can get the monkey off my back and win a race so I can automatically qualify for next year's event. Besides, it's not only fun to drive in but also, an awesome race for fans to watch and participate. There's nothing like it."

For you, what will you be concentrating on to get into the event?

"Race set up. As soon as we unload the car on Friday, we'll concentrate on race set up. Qualifying is important, don't get me wrong, but what matters most is finishing first because you've got to win in order to transfer into The Winston. We've got one shot and just 30 laps to do it. It's not going to be easy but it's sure going to be fun and Charlotte's my favorite track. We've got nothing to lose."

"I also look at The Winston as extra seat time to prepare for the Coca-Cola 600. If we can make it into the main event, we'll get 90-extra laps to race under the lights and get dialed in for next Sunday. Quite a few drivers have won their first Winston Cup race at the 600 and this year I want to be added to that list. Come to think of it, winning The Winston wouldn't be bad either. I would love to try and spend a million bucks!"
