* Menard will make his sixth NASCAR Sprint Cup series start this weekend at Watkins Glen International.
* Sylvania will return to the hood of the No. 98 Sylvania / Menards Ford Fusion for this weekend's road course showdown.
* Menard has completed every lap he has attempted in both Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series competition at Watkins Glen International -- (452 laps of 452 laps in Cup and 247 laps of 247 laps in Nationwide).
Menard on racing at Watkins Glen International:
"I've always really enjoyed the road course races. Racing at Watkins Glen is like one big right-hand turn, I think most of the turns are right-handed with only a couple of left-hand turns. That's what makes racing at Watkins Glen completely different than other road courses. We tested our road course cars at both VIR and Road Atlanta to get ourselves ready for this weekend. I'm really comfortable at Watkins Glen and have had a few good runs there both in Cup and in the Nationwide Series.
"I'm running the Nationwide race this weekend, which should help with getting some extra laps around the track and hopefully put our No. 98 Sylvania / Menards team in a better position on Sunday. It should be a fun weekend."
Crew Chief Larry Carter on racing at Watkins Glen International:
"After our road course test a few weeks ago, I know that all the guys are looking forward to Watkins Glen this weekend. We had a really good Ford Fusion at Sonoma earlier this year, and are taking back the same one for this weekend's race. Had Paul not been spun in Sonoma, I really think we were looking at a top five or top-10 finish. Hopefully this weekend we can redeem ourselves from Sonoma and put up a solid finish."
