Biffle on Watkins Glen: "I like road course racing. It breaks up the season a little. We had a top-10 finish at Watkins Glen in 2007 and had a top-10 run going last year when we got on a different pit cycle than the leaders. I think it's reasonable to shoot for a top-10 finish this weekend. We had a good run with this car at Infineon but had to pit late for fuel. Even though the Glen is a little bit of a faster track with a different configuration, I think we've got a good car for this weekend. The double-file restarts will be tricky and track position will be crucial. There are a few drivers in this series who have a lot of road course experience and if I can just hold my own with them and get out of there with a top-10 or top-five finish, I think that would be a reasonable expectation."
Erwin on Watkins Glen: "We are taking the same car we raced earlier this year at Infineon. We had a decent run with that car but just didn't get the fuel mileage we were expecting. Near the end of the race, we had to pit for fuel when several others did not. We will be better-prepared for the race this weekend at Watkins Glen. We will do everything we can to make sure we have the best pit strategy we can and then it will be up to Greg to get the rest done on the racetrack. Qualifying will be important as always because track position will be at a premium."
Biffle is 12th in the point standings following a 15th-place finish at Pocono.
In the last race at Watkins Glen, Biffle was running in the top 10 when he got on a different pit cycle than the leaders. The car also seemed to loosen up quite a bit around the mid-point of the race and he ended up with a 21st-place finish.
