Ward Burton announced today that his final race with Bill Davis Racing in the No. 22 Dodge will be at Martinsville next weekend.

Burton has signed to drive the No. 0 Pontiac for the remaining four races of the season. Scott Wimmer, a Busch series regular, will drive the No. 22 in Burton's stead.

"It's been a crazy week and a lot has happened," said Burton. "I've had right very successful years with Bill Davis Racing. At the same time, sometimes circumstances arise that you don't have control over and it's time to move on."

Burton leaves Davis Racing after an eight year partnership that included a win at the 2002 Daytona 500.

Tony Furr, will serve as Burton's crew chief.
