After breaking his winless streak of 105 races, with a win at Martinsville, Rusty Wallace's lady luck seems to have dried up. Wallace was involved in the "big one" at Talladega last weekend, and finished 33rd. This weekend at Fontana, Wallace's No. 2 Dodge seemed to have a sign clipped to the back that said "kick me".

Trouble for Wallace started in the races early laps, as Wallace and Tony Stewart traded paint. Wallace was able to collect his car, and not crash but expressed his displeasure with Stewart.

"Stewart got me," said Wallace. "I don't know what's going on there. Coming around the corner he (Stewart) had his finger out the window. I'd like to take that finger and shove it up his rear end."

Wallace could not avoid the trouble that was to befall him on lap 58. As Kurt Busch entered turn 2, he slid the No. 97 Ford up the race track and into the marbles. Busch then careened down in front of the field, and Wallace smacked into him. The damage was heavier on the No. 2 car, sending Wallace into the garage to make lengthy repairs.

Despite Wallace's disappointment with crashing out of the race on Sunday, he was less upset with Busch and on a war of words about Stewart.

"It's Stewart," said Wallace. "I don't know what's wrong with the guy. I like the fellow. He's a good friend. I don't know. He's really screwing up a lot lately. He got me in the back really hard at Bristol. He got me in the back at Martinsville. He caused a huge wreck last week at Talladega and then he runs me right into the fence this time. I'm on the outside right up against the wall and he comes flying up and drives through - knocks the ball joint off, knocks the side off of it.

"He completely ruins the car. Then he pulls up beside me and starts flipping me off on the restart. I wanted to get out of the car and whip his rear end. The kid needs to calm down a little bit. I don't know what's wrong with him. He's really frustrated for some reason.

"I'm not sticking up for him right now. I'm about sick of his childish actions. The boy needs to grow up a little bit.I'm tired of getting taken out by him."

Wallace finished 35th.
