Starting Position: 18th
Do you approach qualifying differently when you're the first car to go out like today? "It's go out there and go as fast as you can as usual. The only thing is you don't have anything, you can't listen to anybody else's radio talk to find out what the track is like. That's really all we can do. It's obviously a disadvantage doing that because the track picks up speed generally. I'm sure it will do that today. Our car was okay, but it's not near good enough to do what we needed to do here today."
JOEY LOGANO, No. 20 Home Depot Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 20th
How was your qualifying lap? "We were tight. We just got in (turn) one and two and plowed and had to pick up the gas and slow up there. I felt like (turn) three and four was pretty decent, but we gave up a lot of speed in one and two. It drove decent in practice, we were just about two-tenths off so we still have work to do here in practice tomorrow."
MARTIN TRUEX JR., No. 56 NAPA Signature Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Starting Position: 21st
How is your car after Friday's practice and qualifying? "We actually had a really good practice today. It felt good going into qualifying we thought we were going to be really close. We were real loose on our qualifying lap. Not sure what happened. We'll look at everything. It was a little disappointing in the lap, but you never know what you're going to get with these things."
How was your qualifying lap? "We underestimated a little bit on how fast we were going to go and we ended up just killing the ground in (turn) one and two -- just bottomed out and moved up the track. The engine ran good and the thing was fast we just didn't predict the speed of the car well enough."
How did your car handle in race trim during practice? "We did a couple runs in race trim during practice and it wasn't bad. We'll see. We need to work on it a little bit, but I think we learned something here in qualifying that we can apply for the race trim stuff so I'm optimistic."

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Office Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 30th
How was your qualifying lap? "Not as quick as we wanted to be today. We felt pretty good in race trim today, but we didn't qualify very good here in the spring either and made our way to the front. I know we'll be fine on Sunday, we have some to do tomorrow in practice ahead of 500 miles here on Sunday."
