With three races remaining in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, Jimmie Johnson and Team Lowe's Racing head to Texas Motor Speedway, where they earned a second-place finish in the Spring.

Having collected five top-five finishes in the seven Chase events, Johnson finds himself 183 points ahead of Carl Edwards in the Championship standings and hopes to add a second win to his Texas Motor Speedway resume by driving his Kobalt Tools Impala SS to Victory Lane in this Sunday's race.

JIMMIE JOHNSON:

TALK ABOUT TEXAS AND WHAT WE CAN EXPECT TO SEE THIS WEEKEND: "I'm just excited. The races are winding down and we're sitting in a good position. Texas was a great race for us in the Spring when we ran there -- we ended up second. It was a period of time when we were making a lot of progress with this car and understanding things a little better so we have a good baseline to go back with. Plus I feel that we've made our cars better and I'm optimistic and excited to go to Texas this weekend."

REGARDING HALLOWEEN, DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT COSTUMES YOU WORE AS A KID? DID YOU EVER DRESS UP AS A RACE CAR DRIVER? "I remember my mom doing all this exotic face-painting stuff. She was pretty good at it. I remember my brother, Jarit, and I winning a competition at our elementary school; it was some type of Grim Reaper thing. When I really think about doing it up and dressing up, that was back in my younger days, and I don't recall going as a race car driver or anything like that."
