Kevin Harvick, No. 29 Shell-Pennzoil Monte Carlo SS, met with members of the media at Texas Motor Speedway and discussed rumored changes in Nationwide Series rules for 2008 and racing luck.

ON RUMORS NASCAR MAY CHANGE RULES REGARDING CUP DRIVINGS RUNNING IN NATIONWIDE SERIES IN 2008: "I think we definitely need something for that series to help the guys that don't race in the Cup Series every week and are trying to make a name for themselves in that series. It gives everybody something else to talk about when they are racing for a championship. The mix doesn't need to be as it was in Memphis, because the race was terrible there to watch as just a spectator. There is a mixture somewhere in there, but it is a fine line as to what is right and what is wrong. I am sure NASCAR will toy with it and try to do the right things for the teams and try to get the right mix of what that right number is."

ON THOUGHTS ON RACING LUCK: "I definitely believe you have to have good luck. Bad luck can take you out of your game and change things quite a bit. Good luck is definitely a lot better than bad luck and you need it to win championships."
