Reed Sorenson (No. 41 Target Dodge Charger) Qualified 9th

"It was a good lap. We picked up a lot. It feels good. We ran well earlier in practice. Anytime that you can run like we did in practice, it makes you feel good heading into qualifying. Our baseline is decent. We've been cutting decent laps since we got here so I feel pretty good about our Target Dodge."

Sam Hornish Jr. (No. 77 Mobil 1 Dodge Charger) Qualified 21st

"Not too bad of a qualifying run. We qualified 17th here in the spring and thought that we would do better the second time that we came here. We feel like that we have a real good racecar. We started out this morning in practice doing race runs. We only did like five laps and we're fourth on the speed charts. We changed over to qualifying trim, but never got the speed out of it like we thought, so we hope that it will be a real good sign that we have a good car for the race."

Robby Gordon (No. 7 Mapei/Menards Dodge Charger) Qualified 22nd

"I have to be honest, I hit the wall in practice and really was a little cautious on that qualifying lap. The car was good; it felt good and fast. I didn't driver Turn 1 hard enough and was afraid of Turn 2 from the practice incident. One-tenth of a second better and I would probably have a top-10 car to start the race on Sunday. I'm happy. They guys did a good job preparing the car. I'm excited to start 22nd because of where we've had to start the last three races (started outside the top 30 because of qualifying being rained out). We'll wrench on it some more tomorrow and try to get our Dodge faster."

Juan Pablo Montoya (No. 42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge Charger) Qualified 26th

"I had a good lap until I got to Turn 3. There's a little dip and when I got out of the gas, the car got loose and I just lost too much time. We were tight the whole practice and I forced it into Turn 3 and the backend just stepped out on me."

Kasey Kahne (No. 9 Budweiser Dodge Charger) Qualified 28th

"We made some gains from practice which is a positive. We found some more grip and really thought that our qualifying lap would have been faster for as much as I was on the edge the entire lap. I think that we have a baseline to try and make our Budweiser Dodge faster. We know that this car can be fast. We just have to figure out what this track likes."

Elliott Sadler (No. 19 Stanley Tools Dodge Charger) Qualified 30th

"We've had to do a lot of work today on our racecar. Going out first in qualifying always makes it tough. We learned some things from practice to qualifying trim that will help us for the race. We're going to make some more changes, trying to make our car better for the race on Sunday. We'll work on some race runs tomorrow and try to get our car better and better."

Ryan Newman (No. 12 Alltel Dodge Charger) Qualified 31st

"It just wasn't' a good lap for the Alltel Dodge. We are going to start a lot further back than we had hoped, especially since we qualified in the top five here in the spring. We've got some work to do tomorrow."

Bobby Labonte (No. 43 Cheerios/Betty Crocker Dodge Charger) Qualified 35th

"Qualifying was like our first lap on the track. We made so many changes after practice that we weren't quite sure what to expect. We were on the experimental side this morning because we wanted to try something different. We've been so bad on the mile-and-a-half tracks that we thought we'd try something different. We still don't know exactly what we have. We picked up some speed which I hope will give us some direction for tomorrow."

A.J. Allmendinger (No. 10 Country Crock Box Dodge Charger) Qualified 36th

"It's a little disappointing. We were so solid in practice, but at least we're in the show. The Country Crock Dodge was pretty tight during our qualifying run and that wasn't the lap we were looking for. We'll put our focus towards practice tomorrow and getting another solid finish in the race. I know we can accomplish that."

Kurt Busch (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger) Qualified 40th

"We were 10th in practice and hoped to pick it up a little. We loosened it up a little to make our car run and I think we went too far. It was a situation where we got out there and over-drove the car. We just couldn't get it to turn in the center of the corner."
