"M&M's" Team prepared to tackle Texas.
"Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good, last weekend we
were somewhere in between."
-Elliott Sadler on a tough weekend at Bristol...
VIEW FROM THE DRIVER'S SEAT WITH ELLIOTT SADLER:
"I love racing at Texas. It's big, and fast. The track is slick and I think the team can bounce back from last week's disappointing run at Bristol. Last year I was on the pole for almost the entire qualifying day and Bill Elliott beat me right there at the end. I'm pretty confident that we will have a good car in Texas because we ran good in Atlanta. Hopefully it will be our weekend -- we have been close plenty of times this year so I hope we can close the deal."
VIEW FROM THE PIT BOX FROM CREW CHIEF RAYMOND FOX III:
"I hope that we can run good everywhere. The 88 tested at Texas last week and Elliott has qualified well there in the past. I think we might have a little work to do when we get there but we are hoping for a great run."
VIEW FROM ABOVE THE TRACK FROM SPOTTER BRETT GRIFFIN:
"Texas has always been one of Elliott's favorite tracks but for me it's very different. We typically spot from a suite at Texas -- it's an environment spotters aren't very familiar with. Everywhere else we are used to the roar of the motors but at Texas, it's very quiet in the suite. It can be distracting to hear all of the other spotters talking. When we are outside the motors drown out everyone else. Also, it's important for the "M&M's"® team to qualify well because the spotters pick positions based on qualifying order. It would be nice to have a front row seat in the suite for the race."
