"I always look forward to going back to Texas. Being from Corpus Christi, I have a lot of fans in the Lone Star State. I can't wait for the day that we can get to victory lane there. The track is so similar to Charlotte and Atlanta and I love both of those places. I think it's just a matter of time before we break into the win column. We've had good cars at Texas and we've run well there in several races, but we're still looking for that first win. This weekend would be a great time to pick that up."
"I am proud of the way that I've been able to qualify at Texas. Hopefully that will help us out this weekend. Qualifying with these new cars has become really important. Where you end up on the qualifying sheet can be a gauge as to how your weekend will go. If you look at the Cup winners from this year, all of them have qualified well. So starting up front and staying up front is what we are shooting for this weekend."
"I've had such a blast getting into this No. 43 Cheerios/Betty Crocker Dodge this year. Jeff Meendering (crew chief) and all the guys on the team have given me great racecars this year, especially the last two weeks. We could easily be in the top-10 in points. That's the caliber of cars that I've been driving. If we continue to work together as a team, then some breaks will start to go our way. I've had cars that could contend for the win this year and that's about all you can ask for."
