LAS VEGAS (March 4, 1999) The odds are certainly in favor of the No. 75 Remington Arms Ford team to have a solid run in Las Vegas this weekend. Ted Musgrave and team owner Butch Mock are hoping that together they can capitalize on their past experiences at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

If they laid their cards out on the table, their hand would include a sixth-place start for the Remington Arms car in 1998, along with an 11th-place finish, which was the team's second-best finish of the season. It would also include a sixth-place finish for Musgrave, who started last year's race from the 23rd position, but managed to maneuver his Ford Taurus to the front pack and take home his third-best finish of the year.

"I am excited to return to Vegas," said Musgrave. "The team is a little down on their luck after our misfortune at Rockingham. We are hoping that luck will roll our way on the track in Vegas. Butch ran well here last year and I ran well here last year. Together, I think we have got a front running combination. The team is hoping that Lady Luck will ride shotgun with us this weekend."
