KASEY KAHNE QUOTES
"We've continued to improve our superspeedway program this year and I've learned more about drafting. It's essential to have drafting partners at Talladega and to know which line of cars has the ability to take you to the front. That comes with experience. At the same time, a driver has to be totally focused on what he is doing -- no mistakes. I like the competition at Talladega, but it's intense.
"There have been a lot of different strategies used at Talladega. We just want to have the No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger around for the final 100 miles. It doesn't matter whether you're running up front or back in the field for the first 400 miles. The key is staying out of trouble and keeping the racecar clean. The race will be decided in the last few laps, and it's not a problem to move from back in the field to the front. It will probably happen. The decision is picking the right drafting partners to take you there.
"It's important for our team to get a good finish here (Talladega) in the final superspeedway/restrictor plate race of the year in preparation for the 2006 season opener at Daytona."
