Accident on Lap 132 involves 25 cars
Note: Race is currently stopped under a red flag until track debris can be removed. The following is a selection of quotes from drivers who were involved in the incident.
Scott Riggs -- #10 Valvoline Chevrolet
I'm not really sure what happened there. We were on the outside of the #4 and I don't know-something happened. Behind him or.I got put into the wall. Big wreck, you know. That's superspeedway racing. We had a good car and thought we could be up front, but it didn't happen for us.
Mike Wallace -- #4 Lucas Oil Chevrolet
I don't know. Looks to me like we just got together. Unfortunately, as much as I hate to say, the outside got together, spun and cause a heck of a big wreck.
DID YOU GET HIT FROM BEHIND? You don't spin out in the middle of a straightaway, so I don't know. We somehow.you have to make your own viewpoint there. I was looking out the front of the car and next thing I was looking at the grandstands. So, whether behind, side, up through the door or something like that.it's a shame. The whole group had a great race going today, so it's a shame to see everyone's day end like this.
Bobby Hamilton, Jr. -- #32 Tide Chevrolet
WHAT DID YOU SEE OUT THERE? I don't know. I don't know.
WHAT DID YOU SEE THROUGH YOUR WINDOW? Nothing. Just the #17 spinning in front of me and I hit him. That's it. That's all I know.
Jason Leffler -- #11 FedEx Express Chevrolet
WHAT DID YOU SEE THROUGH YOUR WINDOW? Nothing but smoke. It's a shame. We didn't need this. We've spent a lot of time in the garage these last three weeks. It's really disappointing. The guys in the FedEx Express Monte Carlo will just keeping digging and get the next one.
THERE WERE QUITE A FEW LAPS THAT WENT INTO THIS ONE BEFORE THE INCIDENT Most of the time, you can see stuff start to happen before it does. From where I was sitting, it seemed fairly calm. I expected it to get a little rough at the end of the race, but not at that time. It's a shame. It happens here.
Brian Vickers -- #25 GMAC / ditech.com Chevrolet
WHAT HAPPENED? I have no idea. It was just smoke from where I could see it. You know, we checked up and tried to miss it and everyone just piled up. You know, I couldn't see anything. I have no idea how it started. But I thought everyone did a good job today. At this time last year, I remember from lap 1 to the last lap, everybody was just out of control. This year, everybody was staying pretty calm. You know, bumping a little bit but not very much. And we had the biggest wreck we've ever had. I think it's just part of the racing.
HOW GOOD COULD YOUR CAR HAVE BEEN? I think we had a good car. It drafted pretty well. We ran top 10 most of the race and we got behind on those green flag stops and we worked up the rest of the day.
THEY WERE ALL CLUMPED IN THE INFIELD, WAS THAT THE MUD? Yeah, just the mud. Everybody just kind of got stuck and piled up together.
Joe Nemechek -- #01 U.S. Army Chevrolet
WHAT HAPPENED? I didn't see anything. It was just all smoke. We were back about 15th in line and something happened right up in the front and it was big. I just pinned up in the outside lane against the wall. There's nothing you can do.
HOW WAS YOUR CAR TODAY? Car drove good. The Army Chevrolet was pretty good. Just a victim of circumstances here.
