Kenseth on racing at Infineon Raceway:

"The key to being successful at road courses like Sonoma is track position. We need to have a good qualifying effort on Friday, and we've actually been okay with our qualifying efforts at the road courses in the past. For a long time I really dreaded the road course races, but I've learned that the more you do it, the more comfortable you become with racing at tracks like Sonoma. I think with the experience I've gotten over the years, I have a much better feel for that type of racing so I'm looking forward to building on our road course experience this week."

Crew chief Todd Parrott on racing at Infineon Raceway:

"Road courses, like this weekend's race at Sonoma, add a couple more challenges into the mix for teams since drivers have a few more things to focus on at a track like this. Keys to being successful this weekend will be to race the race track and to use pit strategy and fuel mileage to our benefit. Drivers that race smart at the road courses usually tend to stay out of trouble all day, and quick pit stops seem to matter a little more at a road course where it's difficult to pass and advance your way through the field."
