Dodge Dealers continue as co-title sponsor of NASCAR event at Infineon Raceway.
SONOMA, Calif. (IMMEDIATE RELEASE) -- The Northern California and Bay Area Dodge Dealers have been part of the Infineon Raceway family for the last three years as co-title sponsor of the annual NASCAR NEXTEL Cup event in the Sonoma Valley.
That relationship will continue as the Northern California and Bay Area Dodge Dealers have announced a multi-year strategic partnership with Infineon Raceway that will extend another five years, through the 2008 motor racing season. Dodge will continue as co-title sponsor of the NASCAR event, which will continue to be known as the Dodge/Save Mart 350. In addition, Dodge will also have the title of "Official Vehicles of Infineon Raceway."
"Our relationship with the Dodge dealers got off to a roaring start three years ago and it continues to grow and improve," said Steve Page, president and general manager of Infineon Raceway. "The promotional energy they put behind the NASCAR event has been remarkable and we look forward to a continued great partnership."
The partnership will feature a fully integrated package including promotional rights, logo rights, a comprehensive hospitality/ticket package, as well as a facility signage package that delivers millions of dollars in television value for Dodge each season. In addition, Dodge will be included in all pre-event publicity for the NASCAR event, and Dodge will also bring its mammoth "Dodge City" attraction as part of the festivities.
"On behalf of myself and the rest of the Northern California Dodge Dealers, we are excited to continue this partnership with Infineon Raceway and be a part of the greatest single-day sporting event of the year in Northern California," said Peter Gaines, Northern California Dodge Dealer Operations Manager. "With the continued growth of NASCAR and the talented group of Dodge drivers, we are looking forward to the next five years in the Sonoma Valley."
"In our business, renewals are the best vote of confidence we can receive. We are thrilled that Dodge and the Northern California dealers have entrusted us to help them grow vehicle sales for the next five years and look forward to continuing to build this strong partnership" said Tim Schuldt, vice president of sales and strategic business development for the raceway.
The Dodge/Save Mart 350 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup weekend will take place June 25-27.
