ROUSH RACING QUOTES
Week of April 4, 2005
Topic: Martinsville Speedway is famous for its hotdogs. Do you plan to be part of that tradition this weekend?
Mark Martin, No. 6 Viagra? Ford Taurus:
"I don't eat hot dogs anymore, but when I first started racing at Martinsville I remember having a few. They were pretty good as I recall, but I won't be having any this weekend."
Greg Biffle, No. 16 Army National Guard/Jackson Hewitt Ford Taurus:
"Yeah, I eat the Martinsville hotdogs, it's a tradition. I just tell them I want the 'chili dog', so whatever they put on that is how I eat them. I'll only have a couple of them though, but one of the guys on our team ate something like 50 of them one weekend."
Matt Kenseth, No. 17 DEWALT Ford Taurus:
"I probably won't have a Martinsville hot dog this weekend. I know that they're a big hit with the fans, though. I like hot dogs but I try to watch what I eat and not consume too much fat."
Kurt Busch, No. 97 Crown Roayl Ford Taurus:
"I think I'll have to pass on the Martinsville hot dog this weekend. I may grill an Oscar Mayer or two over the weekend if I get a craving for one though."
Carl Edwards, No. 99 Scotts Ford Taurus:
"I'm not sure what I'd put on it. I really watch what I eat and unfortunately the Martinsville hotdog isn't in my diet plan."
Todd Kluever, No. 50 World Financial Group Ford F-150:
"I've never been to Martinsville for a race, but I've heard about those hotdogs. If someone told me that eating one would turn my luck around, I'd be the first in line at the concession stand."
Ricky Craven, No. 99 Superchips Ford F-150:
"Those Martinsville hotdogs are tempting. I don't think you can go there without ever having one, but I wouldn't recommend going overboard on them, especially before a 500-lap race."
