CROSS PLAINS, Wis., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Currently redefining the power tool industry, Roto Zip Tool Corporation has teamed up with Turner Broadcast System, Inc. and Red Cell Battery to redefine traditional NASCAR Winston Cup sponsorships, it was announced today by Bob Kopras, CEO & founder of Roto Zip Tool Corporation. Divvying up races throughout the 2000 season Roto Zip, TBS and Red Cell will share primary sponsorship of Galaxy Motorsport's #75 car, driven by Winston Cup veteran Wally Dallenbach. "Traditionally, cars have one primary sponsor with several secondary sponsors," said Kopras. "Roto Zip, TBS and Red Cell have aligned to create an opportunity that is allowing a small family-owned company to become affiliated with a professional sport, which is very exciting. NASCAR is a family sport that is backed by the most loyal fans in the world." Getting full real estate of the car for seven races, Roto Zip will make its debut on the NASCAR circuit this Sunday, February 27 with the DURA-LUBE/BIG KMART 400 in Rockingham, N.C. TNN will be carrying a live broadcast of the race, which starts at 12:30 p.m. EST The North Carolina Speedway, also known as "The Rock," is a challenging mile-oval track that is not only tough on the tires but driver's patience. "It's a new and exciting season for me," said Dallenbach. "I've had a change in car ownership and sponsorship and I'm looking forward to debuting the Roto Zip car. Hopefully in Rockingham, my new car design and driving conditions will be the right combination for a good finish this week." Son of legendary Indy-car driver Wally Dallenbach, Sr., Dallenbach has seven career Winston Cup top five finishes and 24 career top ten finishes. Dallenbach has signed a three-year contract with Galaxy Motorsports, a newly formed racing team, owned by Darwin Oordt. Seasoned racing professional Jimmy Johnson has come out of retirement to manage Galaxy Motorsports. Redefining the power tool industry in 1976 by pioneering Spiral Saw technology, Roto Zip Tool Corporation is recognized as a leader in the industry. The company currently offers several models of the Roto Zip(R) Spiral Saw(TM), the newest being the Revolution(TM), as well as accessories including the Zip Mate(TM) attachment for use with a variety of building materials and automotive applications. Roto Zip products are sold in major retailers and neighborhood outlets throughout the U.S. and Canada. They are also available through various catalog companies and television programs such as QVC, TSC and a nationwide infomercial.
