The Kmart/Dura Lube 400 has been rained out. NASCAR officials announced an 11:00 am start tomorrow, Monday, February 26. The racers received the green but had not completed one lap before the caution came out due to a turn 4 accident involving Dale Earnhardt Jr. "Little E" went to the infield hospital and was released. NASCAR started to return to a green flag on several occasions until the race was red flagged prior to the postponement.

The race will be shown live on the FX cable network and will also be broadcast live on MRN Radio. the race will be replayed in prime time Monday on FX beginning at 7:30 pm ET. According to FX spokesperson, John Solberg, the initial telecast will also be offered to Fox affiliates. Fan need to call their local affiliate to request this.

The race was canceled after 52 of 393 laps had been run, 16 of them were under the green flag, the rest were under the caution.

Stacy Compton was leading when the race was called. Jeff Gordon was in second, followed by Steve Park, Tony Stewart and Ricky Rudd.
