No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge
Subway 400 -- North Carolina Speedway
Driver: Jeremy Mayfield
Team Director: Kenny Francis
Team Owner: Ray Evernham
The No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge that Mayfield is driving at Rockingham is the same car that led 96 laps en route to a third place finish at Rockingham last fall.
MAYFIELD ON 'THE ROCK':
"I can't wait for the race at Rockingham. We came so close to winning there last fall and we're bringing the same car, so I think we can do it again.
"Rockingham is a tough race track that eats up tires. It will be interesting to see how the new tires we're using wear down. The No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge team tested there before Daytona, so we'll use some of the data they collected.
"Last Sunday at Daytona was a tough race. We damaged the nose of our Dodge trying to avoid and early accident, but it messed up the steering and we never had the time to repair it properly. We're all looking forward to redeeming ourselves this weekend."
