CROWN ROYAL TO ANNOUNCE WINNER OF LANDMARK CONTEST IN DAYTONA®
Winner to Have His or Her Name on Richmond International Raceway's May NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Race

January 31, 2007 (Richmond, VA)--Crown Royal Championship Racing will fill in the blanks next month during a unique, first-of-its-kind ceremony at Daytona International Speedway. Currently, Richmond International Raceway's spring NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race is dubbed the Crown Royal Presents The Your Name Here 400. During the week leading up to the Daytona 500, which is set for Sunday, February 18, one of 10 lucky finalists will put his or her name in the "Your Name" slot.

Crown Royal announced the "Your Name Here 400" promotion at last year's Crown Royal 400 at Richmond International Raceway. Since then, Crown Royal has judged written and video submissions chronicling consumers' favorite "CROWN-WORTHY™" moments. A "CROWN-WORTHY" moment is defined as a memorable moment or occasion deemed "worthy" of toasting with a Crown Royal cocktail in a responsible manner.

The grand prize winner's name will be recognized by broadcast and media partners as the race's official title (i.e., Crown Royal Presents The Joe Smith 400). As guest of honor at Richmond International Raceway, the winner will participate in several raceday activities and receive VIP accommodations.

"I can't think of a more CROWN-WORTHY moment than having a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race named after you at America's Premiere Short Track," said Richmond International Raceway president Doug Fritz. "We wish the ten finalists the best of luck and congratulate them on being a part of this historical contest. Many thanks to our terrific partners at Crown Royal Championship Racing for bringing this fun, groundbreaking promotion to Richmond International Raceway."

In total, more than 30,000 entries were submitted to the "Your Name Here 400" contest between May 6 and November 23, 2006, and the 10 finalists were selected by a panel of judges on the basis of originality, relevance, appeal and clarity of their submissions. Each finalist receives a prize package which includes race tickets, infield access, pre-race tour of the garage, air travel and hotel accommodations to this year's Daytona 500.

Tickets for the Crown Royal Presents The Your Name Here 400 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway, which went on sale to the general public on Saturday, are still available by calling 1-866-455-7223 or visiting www.rir.com.
