JASON LEFFLER ON RACING IN RICHMOND...

"Richmond is a great racetrack. From a driver's standpoint it's a good track to race on because there are places to pass and run two wide, and from a fan's view, it's an exciting night race with a lot going on. I don't know anybody who doesn't look forward to racing in Richmond. On the other hand, it's still tough short-track racing. You have to start off the weekend with a good qualifying run because pit selection can be pretty important. Having to overcome a less than ideal pit stall location can get you behind the eight ball right off the bat. We were a little disappointed with our qualifying run last week in Darlington and we just need to do better than that this weekend.

"Every week this NetZero HiSpeed Racing team spends together we get better. The communication between me and Tony (Furr, crew chief) and all the guys is really good. We just seem to keep hitting some road bumps along the way and can't get the finishes we should, though we've taken two weeks of misfortune and turned them into somewhat decent runs. With a little bit of luck this week, we can stay out of trouble, stay on the lead lap and be able to run the whole race competitively. If we can do that, we should come out of it with a pretty good finish. Right now we're just trying to rebuild this team and every bit of time we can get out on the track helps. This Haas CNC Racing team is a good one, and I'm excited to be a part of it."
