KASEY KAHNE (No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger) -- 34th
"They left off two spark plug wires. We put them back on and there was nothing wrong. That's the third time it's happened this year. We've got to figure out why they're falling off or whatever is going on there. We had a top five car. We definitely could have battled with those guys, but we didn't want to get up there and mess with the leaders. We definitely could have raced with those guys. I feel good about that. I think Harvick might have been the only car that passed us under green after we got back out there. Harvick definitely had the car to beat tonight for 300 laps. I can't believe he lost it. We battled hard and got 34th. You just go back out after something like that happens and try to beat the leader. You need so much luck with cautions when they come out. The pit crew did a good job. It's just a matter of having a problem that we need to get fixed."
SCOTT RIGGS (No. 10 Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge Charger) -- 14th
"I need to watch the replay. I know we were racing hard, and I almost got by him (Brian Vickers). Then he drove up on the outside of me again. I was trying to lay back and let him go and cool my tires. I was right there close to him. If I got into him, it's my fault. If he came down on me, it's his fault. I don't know if he's mad or said it was my fault or what. I'm glad we were able to bring it home where we did considering we spun and hit the wall and all that. We were going for another top 10. We just didn't get it."
BOBBY LABONTE (No. 43 Cheerios/Betty Crocker Dodge Charger) -- 24th
"On the last stop, the left rear tire got put on the right rear and the right rear got put on the left rear. That hasn't happened in about a hundred years. I was wrecking after that. I just had to hold on for 40 laps. We didn't know if it was a gear or swaybar broke or what. When the tires are mismatched like that there's nothing you can do about it. We really didn't know about it until it was too late. I told them they're not going to give it to us. We're going to have to earn it."
CASEY MEARS (No. 42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge Charger) -- 17th
"We were better than we finished. We came in for the first stop and we were seventh or so. We got blocked in the pits by the 1. He short pitted big time and it blocked us in real bad. It put us in the junk back there. Something happened to the 17 and he put down a bunch of oil. I spun out in that and that put us way back. We were a little bit tight and we made some adjustments to free it up and that made it way too loose. It just so happened that was a long green run, and that put us a lap down. There at the end we almost got our lap back, but we were one lap shy of getting it. I guess after everything that happened 17th is not a bad finish, but we had a better car than that. I think we could have been right in the top 10."
RYAN NEWMAN (No. 12 Alltel My Circle Dodge Charger) -- 8th
"It would have been nice to have four tires there at the end, but the guys did a great job. That's our first top 10 since Daytona, and that says a lot. It's good to get the points going back in the right direction for this Alltel My Circle Dodge. I'm really looking forward to going to Darlington. We were just a little off on balance tonight and we needed track position. I think track position could have won us the race are at least got us a top three."
