Wimmer on Pocono Raceway--
"My first impressions of Pocono were, wow! What a unique track," said Scott Wimmer. "I have never seen or raced on something like that track before. It took quite a bit of getting used to. We were off quite a bit to begin with and then got our times better as the day went on. I got in a rental car with Mark Martin and he drove me around the track and pointed out where to shift and how to get around the unique track. He was a huge help for me. I still have a lot of work to do on my part to be competitive, but the test session certainly helped us out a ton. That's going to be one of those places that will just get better the more laps you run."

The team ran among the top 20 all day and stayed out of trouble for the entire race. After a major wreck occurred and took out several cars, Wimmer and the team capitalized and finished ninth. Wimmer's ninth-place finish continues his streak of top-15 finishes at every race since he began racing at the Monster Mile.
