"I always look forward to going to Pocono. You never know if a deer is
going to run out in front of you in turn two. It is just an entirely
different environment that we race at. It's nice to go somewhere that isn't
a metropolis. It's in the middle of the country and it is real pretty

WALLACE ON RACING AT POCONO
"The long straightaways and shifting adds a little different technique to racing at Pocono. It is the closest thing to racing on a road course that we race at. It also has a little Indy in it too. You need a ton of horsepower and a car that handles well. You need the full package. You need to have the right gear ratio. There are just so many components that you need to rely on and you can't afford to give anything up in any area.
"There are three distinctly different corners at Pocono. And obviously you can't get the car handling perfectly in every corner, so the team that finds the best compromise is the team that will finish the best. If I had to give up one area to be better in another, I would compromise turn three, so I could run better in one and two. There is a lot of passing that goes on in turns one and two and so I would like to have my #23 handling the best there. Those are also the widest turns, so it allows you to pass more freely there than in turn three. Hopefully, Philippe and the team and I can get a real good handle on the car and have a good finish Sunday."

WHAT CAR WILL THE STACKER 2 TEAM RUN THIS WEEKEND
The #23 Stacker 2 car Kenny Wallace will run this weekend is the same car he competed with at Lowe's Motor Speedway where he started 28th and finished 42nd. Wallace had a solid run going until the heat exchanger malfunctioned, causing the #23 to load up and head home.
