POCONO FAST FACTS
" Andretti will make his second appearance of the season with the NetZero HiSpeed Racing team this weekend at Pocono (Penn.) Raceway.
" Andretti has made 19 NASCAR Winston Cup starts at Pocono. His most recent came in the June 2003 event. Andretti, driving for Petty Enterprises, started 21st and finished 23rd.
" In addition to his Winston Cup starts in Pocono, Andretti has competed twice in the Champ Car Series at the 2.5-mile track.
" Andretti has earned four pole positions and two victories in 313 NASCAR Winston Cup starts.
"The Haas CNC Racing team has prepared Chassis No. 12 for this weekend's event. Though not the same car the team utilized for the first race in Pocono, it has been previously run at Chicagoland Speedway and Lowe's Motor Speedway.
JOHN ANDRETTI ON RACING AT POCONO
"Last week was a disaster for the NetZero HiSpeed Racing team. We never got to qualify because of the rain, started in the back and ended up with a wrecked race car less than 10 laps into the race. It wasn't the debut we were looking for, that's for sure. Hopefully this weekend will be a lot better. I always look forward to racing in Pocono. I'm confident Tony Furr will give me a good handling car and Hendrick Motors will definitely help me on the long straightaways. Pocono is tricky. It's a challenge to get the car to handle in the corners, since they are each so different. Most of the time you go into it knowing you will have to sacrifice perfection to find a happy medium. I'm not sure what the future holds for me, so it would be nice to come out of there with a good finish."
