Data from other tracks doesn't provide that much help at Pocono because it is so different -- the long straightaway and three turns are totally different. It's a long race, a demanding race on the equipment and race team. The pit crew can play a significant role in the race because of the number of pit stops. The No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger's over-the-wall crew has performed well this year.

"We're the same organization that won the most races last year and the most poles. We've got guys that know how to get it done. We didn't really lose anybody over the winter. We still know how to get it done. We just got caught off guard a little bit with the new nose, new Goodyear tires and the COT. That's three new things all at once and we just missed it a little bit. Sometimes that happens. We've evaluated the situation, looked at the options and made a decision for the future. We took the first step last week at Indy. There were some positive results and we have data that we can use in the future."

QUICK FACTS

* Sadler qualified 17th and finished 23rd with the No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger in the series' last trip to Pocono Raceway.

* Pocono is known for its brutality on both drivers and equipment. In Sadler's 17 career starts at the 2.5-mile track, he has never failed to finish the grueling 500 miler.

* He has two top-10 finishes at Pocono and has qualified in the top 15 a total of five times.

* Sadler has yet to receive a DNF in 2007. He's been running at the end of all 20 races this season.
