REED SORENSON (No. 41 Target Dodge Charger) Qualified 10th for tomorrow's Pennsylvania 500
IS THIS TEAM FINALLY REACHING ITS POTENTIAL? - "We brought a brand new car to Indy and it was just happen to be really good off the trailer. The team is the same. You have the same guys. So nothing's changed as far as that aspect goes. It's just a lot easier when you start off the trailer fast and we were fast all weekend at Indy."
COMMENT ON QUALIFYING YESTERDAY-- "I think it was pretty good. We were 22nd in practice so that was a little better than what we practiced. I thought we could get in the top 15 and that was a little better than that. So, it was better than what we practiced."
COMMENT ON THE FIRST PRACTICE -- "We're struggling this morning. We have some issues where I can't even make a lap right now. We have our two teammates that we can bank off of us as well, so we looked at their setups compared to ours. We've got a couple changes we're going to do that should make the car better."
GOALS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON -- "Run consistent, gain spots in the points. We're 24th in the points right now and we'd like to be somewhere around 15th or so by the time the season is over. If we can just keep getting top 10's, top 15's, have cars like we had last weekend at Indy, that's our goal."
BOBBY LABONTE (#43 Cheerios Dodge Charger)
COMMENTS ON SATURDAY PRACTICE -- "We made some good progress but I don't feel good about tomorrow yet. We've got to figure out what we did to make it better. We started off so bad, but it just hasn't reached the point where we need to be. Something is restricting it from making it turn and making it go in the right direction. We still have to work at that."
DISPLAYING THE LOGO IN SUPPORT OF THOSE AFFECTED BY THE BRIDGE COLLAPSE IN MINNESOTA -- "We are supposed to be up there next Wednesday. There are a lot of people with General Mills who travel that bridge every day. Thankfully, for our guys they didn't have anyone affected seriously by the tragedy.
"What a natural disaster that strikes everybody, even though the amount of fatalities isn't horrendous, it's an amazing incredible ordeal.
"I believe it is a symbolism of what our sponsors and our NASCAR family is all about. It's a deal of always trying to help out somebody else if we can."
