FreeCreditReport.com driver David Gilliland on Pocono:
"We had a great test at Pocono earlier this year and a great performance in the race back in June, so I'm really looking forward to returning to Pocono for the second time. This weekend will be the second track we have returned to for a second time this season. When we return to a track for the second time in the season, it allows us to look over notes from the first race and see what else we can develop upon for this race. Pocono is such a unique race track with its triangular shape, but our goal this weekend is to improve upon the finish we got back in June for the Pocono 500 and I'm confident that our FreeCreditReport.com team will be able to do that."
FreeCreditReport.com crew chief Cully Barraclough on Pocono:
"This is our second time at Pocono for the season and every time we go to these tracks, the driver is able to learn a little more about them. A lot of people forget about how little time David has to spend at some of these tracks we go to. Every time we go back from a driver's standpoint, he's going to get better and better, our team is going to get better and better. I think that gives us the ability to apply what we've learned and unload off the truck ahead of where we were the last time. Our goal is to return to Pocono and run stronger than we ran earlier in the season and we should have a great race."
Chassis #506 is the chassis the #38 FreeCreditReport.com team will be running this weekend for the Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono Raceway. This is the same chassis the team last ran at Charlotte for the Coca-Cola 600 in May where they finished 40th after a runaway tire from another competitor caused damage to the front of the car.
