KASEY KAHNE (No. 9 Budweiser Dodge Charger)

"Our Budweiser Dodge felt really good. It felt real racy and comfortable. We made some changes and got better and then a little worse, but we know where we need to be for tomorrow."

HOW CONCERNED ARE YOU AS A DRIVER ABOUT THE HEAT INDEX INSIDE THE CAR TOMORROW? "It will certainly be the hottest race of the year. At some point we knew that we were going to have this day (hot temperatures). It's been such a cool race season thus far that we probably got a little bit spoiled. At this track, I've gotten hot here before, but fortunately there are some long straightaways that help push some air in the car. But for some reason, you still feel the heat and you tend to get really hot inside the car. You just have to hydrate yourself a lot tonight and mentally get ready for the hot temperatures tomorrow."

ELLIOTT SADLER (No. 42 Stanley Tools Dodge Charger)

"Our Stanley Tools Dodge is really good. We're really not going to make any changes tonight. My teammate Kasey (Kahne) is really fast and definitely has the car to beat tomorrow. We're using a lot of things off of his car, so great teamwork again this week.

"We didn't qualify where we'd like to. It was probably the worse lap that I made all weekend was in qualifying. We've got 500 miles tomorrow to get it figured out so hopefully we'll have a good day."

SAM HORNISH JR., (No. 77 Mobil 1 Dodge Charger)

"We weren't good in practice all day. We were trying a lot of different things on our Mobil 1 Dodge to make it better. I just got loose going into Turn One and lost it. We tore the front end up a bit and will have to go to our backup car for tomorrow." (A spin through the grass damaged the front end of the No. 77 Dodge and the team elected to bring out the backup car.)
