* This Week's Charger... The No. 12 Penske Dodge team will race chassis PRS-616 during Sunday's 500-mile event. PRS-616 is a brand new car to the No.12 fleet.
* Racing on Wednesday... The driver of the No.12 Penske Dodge Charger, David Stremme, will spend Wednesday at Eldora Speedway competing in the "Prelude to the Dream" event. Stremme will wheel the No.12 Verizon Wireless dirt car around Tony Stewart's famous Ohio dirt track. This will be Stremme's first appearance in the "Prelude to the Dream." The event can be seen live on HBO Pay-Per-View television.
* Pocono Past... Stremme has four career starts at the 2.5-mile Pocono Raceway. The 31-year-old driver has an average finish of 25.75 at Pocono.
* Tested and Approved... Stremme and the No.12 Penske Dodge team spent Monday and Tuesday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway participating in a Goodyear tire test. The team spent the two days working with Goodyear engineers while turning laps around the 2.5-mile famed speedway. Team owner Roger Penske won his 15th Indianapolis 500-mile race two weeks ago at the Brickyard.
David Stremme on driving at Pocono Raceway
"I really like Pocono. It is like a big road course. All three corners are different. The track is really fast and you have to be able to carry a lot of speed into the corners to be a contender. I know all three Penske cars will all be strong all weekend. I am really going to rely on Kurt [Busch] a lot. He has had a ton of success there and knows how to really get around the track."
Crew chief Roy McCauley on racing at Pocono Raceway
"Pocono is a challenging track. The track consists of three corners and none of the three are alike. As a crew chief, you have to focus on one corner and work around the other two. I know David [Stremme] is excited about going to Pocono, which is good for the entire team. We had a successful test in Indy Monday and Tuesday and are looking forward to getting to the Pocono Mountains. Kurt [Busch] has had a lot of success at Pocono and we have all been working together to make sure all three Penske Racing cars have strong runs."
