KENNY WALLACE ON PHOENIX INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY--
"I like going to Phoenix," said Wallace. We ran really well last year -- we finished 11th. My teammate Scott Wimmer tested out there for our team, so I think my crew chief Philippe Lopez has a very good idea what to put in the racecar. Although we ran well last year, we would like to do better this year. The track has made a lot of changes since we were there. They added a tunnel in turn four. They took down the pedestrian walkover in turn four. Then they moved the wall coming off turn two out 12 feet and extended it all the way down the backstretch. I don't think it will change much on the track, but it will certainly look different. The landmarks are certainly different. It should be a lot easier to get off turn two then it has in the past. You used to come off turn two and just about knock that wall down. Now, you will be able to get to the throttle faster and not have to worry about that wall. It should make for some exciting racing because you should be able to race two and maybe three wide coming off that turn. You will be able to use up more of the race track too."
