===== Daily posts will now be available at the NASCARFans web site again. Hopefully we will have the morning's newsletter out there by noon EST

There will be a link off the main NASCARFans page (http://www.nascarfans.com) to get you there, although if you're reading this, you probably don't need to go there .....

There is also a great archive of NASCARFans posts, along with other NASCAR-related material at Motorsport News International at:

This is a good place to look for that old news item or article you need. ===== Jayski's news gatherings:

From Mike Joy, CBS/TNN Racing Announcer: "CBS Sports will soon be holding a staff NASCAR seminar in which we will plan our strategies for 1998 coverage. Since a number of folks in the various newsgroups have said they don't like certain aspects of our coverage, it's their turn to be heard. If any Jayski.com followers have SPECIFIC complaints or suggestions for improvement, they are welcome to email them to me between now and 1/10/98. I'll make sure they get discussed at the seminar."

OK, readers, here is our chance to be heard by letting your opinion or ideas be known by someone who can do something about it.

"Hickory Motor Speedway, one of the nation’s oldest NASCAR-sanctioned race tracks changed owners just before the New Year, possibly bringing about a change in the 1998 NASCAR Busch Series schedule. Hickory Motor Speedway, which has hosted Busch Series events since the series’ inception in 1982, was sold to Columbia, S.C., real estate developer John Huffman over the holidays, completing the transaction Dec. 20" (iRACE)
