New television spot demonstrates appreciation of the eight-year partnership with driver of the No. 12 Alltel Dodge
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- As millions of fans across the country watch the last few stock car races of the season, Alltel Wireless, America's largest network, will capture their attention with "Alltel Racing Moments." On Sunday, September 21 a new television spot thanking 2008 Daytona 500 Champion and driver of the No. 12 Alltel Dodge Ryan Newman aired featuring special Alltel Racing moments from the past eight years. The spot, developed by NASCAR Media Group, will continue to air during the SPEED pre-race broadcast, as well as the national ABC race telecast throughout the end of the season.
"Ryan has been a loyal representative of the Alltel brand on and off the track for the past eight years, and will always be a part of 'Our Circle' and we wish him all the best," said Samira Zebian, director sponsorship marketing for Alltel Wireless. "This unique 'thank you' campaign allows Ryan's fans to relive some of the amazing moments that we have shared together."
"Alltel Racing Moments" showcases some of Newman's greatest achievements behind the wheel of the No. 12 Alltel Dodge, including his historic win at the 50th running of the Daytona 500. The television spot concludes with a tag asking fans to visit alltelracing.com to vote for their favorite moment. Along with the 30-second television spot, alltelracing.com features a series of three 60-90 second vignettes that will display various Alltel Racing moments such as victories, bloopers, fan interaction, etc.
At the end of the race season, Alltel will reward 100 people from those who voted for their favorite Alltel Racing moment with a piece of Alltel Racing memorabilia autographed by Ryan Newman.
In addition to the television commercial and online vignettes, Alltel has also changed its creative for any upcoming racing-related print and radio ads to reflect the "Alltel Racing Moments" campaign.
