Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. are no longer together.
Stenhouse attended NASCAR's annual awards ceremony alone and a spokesperson for Danica Patrick confirmed the split to the Associated Press Monday morning.
Patrick and Stenhouse dated for nearly five years and competed against each other in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
Stenhouse, 30 had a breakthrough 2017 season, winning for the first time at Talladega Superspeedway and following it up with another victory at Daytona International Speedway in July.
Patrick, 35, recently announced she was retiring from full-time Cup competition, but hoped to make one final start in the 2018 Daytona 500 before returning to IndyCar for one last Indy 500 bid. She never won while driving for Stewart-Haas Racing, finishing as high as sixth at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 2014.
She also has a book coming out on December 26th, titled 'Pretty Intense: The 90-Day Mind, Body and Food Plan that will Absolutely Change Your Life.'
