NASCAR CAFE PRESS CONFERENCE NOTES Several NASCAR Winston Cup drivers assisted in the unveiling ceremony of the NASCAR Cafe logo and floor plan.

RUSSELL BRANHAM (Director of Public Relations, Darlington Raceway) -- The memorabilia area of the NASCAR Cafe will serve as a tribute to Darlington Raceway. We're going to have a lot of pieces of memorabilia that trace the history of Darlington Raceway. The first item is a hood off John Andretti's Little Caesars Ford. Of course, John won his first career Busch Pole at Darlington at the 1995 Mountain Dew Southern 500. We're also going to have a special version of our 'Pole Cat' award. Those will be just two of the items in the exhibit.

KYLE PETTY -- I like the idea, especially this part here ("Performance Games" area). Unless you get a bunch of kids on there and then they wear me out. It's a great concept. I think with the popularity of Winston Cup racing, with the way it's grown by leaps and bounds over the last seven or eight years, that this is just a logical extension of that popularity. You've got theme restaurants with other sports. This brings us up to another level with the rest of the sports in the country.

KEN SCHRADER -- Kyle's just about said it all. The sport's grown so much I'm glad to see someone finally jumped up there and did this. There's no one better to be connected with than Mr. France.

DALE EARNHARDT -- I'm excited about it. I think NASCAR is great for doing it because there are so many other people trying to do things with our sport. It's going to be authentic, being with NASCAR. I'm going for the food, I'm not going for the games. Although I may ride the simulator with Darrell. I'm going for the great food they're going to have. I went over to Knoxville back in February and got a sample of what the food is going to be like. I'm excited about it and excited to be a part of it.

DARRELL WALTRIP -- It's just another step forward for NASCAR. It's just one more indication that we're a full-service sport. That's our goal, isn't it? To do everything we can to help the fan and entertain them. We entertain them at the race track, now we can feed them. I think it's a pretty neat deal for everybody. I know my girls will enjoy going there and having a good time. I know I've always wanted to drive right up into the bar -- I've got to get my car in there somewhere.

JOHN ANDRETTI -- (The first driver to make a presentation to the memorabilia collection at NASCAR Cafe.) -- We're excited to be a part of the whole program. To be able to put a hood off my race car in this cafe means a lot to me. I only just came to NASCAR and I've got to go along on the ride that NASCAR has provided. To be a part of the Darlington exhibit and to have won my first Busch Pole at Darlington means a lot to me.
