North Carolina Speedway Driving Guide -- "Rockingham is a good place. It's a race track where the driver has to drive and he's got to have a good car. Tires don't last very long there, so the guy that takes the best care of his tires and gets around the track the smoothest will have a good day.

"This weekend is the pit crew competition for the MichaelHoligan.com team, too. My guys practice every week so it's nothing unusual for them to be ready to race. This time, they'll be racing the clock as much as the competition."

Viggy's Dining Guide -- Nadeau's motorcoach driver, John "Viggy" Vignona, is a self-proclaimed connoisseur of the restaurants near each of the NASCAR Winston Cup Series tracks. This week, the Long Island, N.Y., native got a second opinion for the Rockingham, N.C., area from fellow motorcoach driver Scott Whitmore, who pilots Jeff Gordon's home on wheels.

"I don't really have any suggestions for Rockingham," Vignona said. "So this week I'll turn it over to Scott because he likes to eat just as much as I do and he's been telling me about this place we've got to eat at this weekend."

"The best place to eat in Rockingham is The Squire Pub in Southern Pines (N.C.)," Whitmore explained. "They have an awesome steak and their French onion soup is one of the better in the land. The last race I was in Rockingham, I ate there every night but one. I'd give it four steering wheels."
