Juan Pablo Montyoa has expressed interest in doing 'The Double' next year.
It's well documented that Colombian racer Juan Pablo Montoya is one of the versatile drivers in racing today. He's won races in NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula One, and sportscar racing throughout his impressive career.
He's now hinted in an interview with MRN at the possibility of attempting 'The Double' next year. It makes sense really. He has years of both open-wheel and stock car experience and currently drives for a team that field competitive cars in both divisions (Penske).
Kurt Busch tried to do it earlier this year, finishing sixth in the Indianapolis 500 with zero prior experience. He failed to finish the NASCAR race after an engine failure however. Montoya finished fifth after leading a number of laps in this year's Indy 500.
In the interview, Montoya basically said that of Roger wanted him to do it, he would probably do it.
