Note: Led 97 Laps today

We had a good car today. I guess we need to figure out how to lead the right lap. It's frustrating for us as a team. We had a really good car all day and it's like, what do we have to do to get in victory lane this season. It's a good points day. It's like Zippy said, we got crawl before we walk, walk before we jog and jog before we run. So, you know, I'm sure in ten minutes I'll feel a lot better about it, it's just that when you run that good all day and lead that many laps that you can't finish it off.

DID YOU LEARN A LOT FROM TESTING HERE AND WHAT CAN YOU TAKE AWAY FROM THAT TO OTHER TRACKS?

I think we found some things that made us faster here. Whether it is anything we can take away from here and take somewhere else, I don't know. You know, at least we're here, obviously. It was pretty good today. You know, it's like, what are we missing now? We made a huge step and we're still not where we need to be. It's like, what do we need to do to catch those guys.

DID KENSETH INTERRUPT YOUR RUN-DOWN STRATEGY ON BIFFLE

No, not really. He got away from us for a while, actually, and I don't know if I had the car at the beginning of the segment, you know, just couldn't run him back down. Finally his tires fell off and we had four new tires and were able to maintain and close up. But, other than that, I don't think he really held us up.

ON THE LAST PIT STOP, WAS THERE ANY CHANCE YOU WERE GOING TO STAY OUT AS WELL?

I don't know. You're asking me a question about getting in everybody else's heads. I can't answer. All I knew is that we weren't fast enough to beat Biffle the way we were at, I felt like if we took tires we had enough laps to get back. We should have been able to get up to the front. It just amazes me that four tires can't beat a car that's got twelve laps on it.
