Starting Position: 9th
How was your car in qualifying? "It was a good pick up from practice so that is what you are always looking for is to better yourself. The guys did a good job making adjustments. I felt good about the car in practice. We were just off a little bit in three and four. We were too loose down there in practice and they actually got it a little too tight down there now. They did a good job adjusting, we just missed it a little bit today. Real happy with the effort and that was a good qualifying run for us."
What do you have to work on in practice tomorrow? "Here, just grip. Long runs here and the tires wear out then it gets really, really slick. It was slick today, it will be worse tomorrow, it always is. Just work on getting the car driving decent and being good on long runs. That's usually what it takes to be good here."
Is it difficult to determine which changes to make at a track with so many lanes? "Because the car is different depending on where you run on the race track and you really have to go into practice thinking about the past races here and what worked for you and what didn't. The top lane is really, really good in practice and as practice goes on, it kind of goes away and as the race goes, it seems like 100 miles into the race really the top isn't good anymore. It's really easy to fool yourself into making your car work good up top in the high groove and then when you get in the race you get stuck up there. Then it quits working and you can't go back to the bottom. I've got a good game plan tomorrow of what we're going to do and hopefully it works out for us this time."
How does the weather affect your practice strategy with hot temperatures today and cool temperatures predicted Sunday? "It will definitely be different Sunday, but you just have to go in there tomorrow and work your car good the best you can. Typically if it gets hotter it's a problem, but if it gets cooler then it helps everyone. It usually makes all your problems a little bit easier to deal with when you have cooler temps and better grip on the track. Hopefully we'll be happy with the car tomorrow and if it cools off a little then it will be that much better."
DAVID REUTIMANN, No. 00 Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Starting Position: 14th
How was your car in qualifying? "We were loose coming to the green and I think that cost us some in getting up to speed. We were better than we were in practice, but we were still a fair way off from where we need to be. Just have to see how it stacks up."
How much does this race track change from June to August? "It doesn't really matter - it seems to be the same from year to year. It just depends on what the temperature is and how much cloud cover there is and stuff like that. It doesn't really seem to matter when, it just seems to matter what the temperatures are."
KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 Interstate Batteries Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 18th
"Our Interstate Batteries Camry was loose off. We jumped back and forth in practice from tight too loose. We picked up from practice, but we couldn't rotate the center like I wanted to. The car should be good in race trim, but we wish we could have started a little better."
MAX PAPIS, No. 13 GEICO Toyota Camry, Germain Racing

JOE NEMECHEK, No. 87 Toyota Camry, NEMCO Motorsports
Starting Position: 22nd
JOEY LOGANO, No. 20 Home Depot Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 27th
How was your qualifying run? "We were okay. I don't know. We're just off today. I don't know why. We are okay in race trim when we unloaded. It got worse as the track got hotter. We went to qualifying trim and all three of us (at Joe Gibbs Racing) are really slow."
What will you work on to improve your car's handling? "We have to really focus on getting these things off the corner. I was really loose in practice. I think we really helped it for qualifying, getting it off the corner -- we just didn't get any faster. We'll have to go back and look at some things."
DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Express Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 32nd
How was your qualifying lap? "It was okay. We struggled a little bit in practice. We got the balance a little bit better, but we just needed to be better on that lap. That's the best we've been and we improved quite a bit from practice so that was good."
How much momentum do you feel from the team for this weekend? "We've been up and down a little bit each and every weekend. We've had good weekends where we felt like we made a lot of headway. Then we've had weekends where we've been scratching our heads a little bit. I know they did some things to bring a different type of car here this weekend. Hopefully we will get both of our practice sessions in tomorrow if the weather lets us then we will be able to work on it and see where we end up."
