Trivia Question: What Michigan city holds the Guinness World Record for largest sandwich? (Answer Below)
Kasey Kahne (Driver, No. 9 Budweiser Dodge Charger) "You need a good handling car and a great engine. Turn 3 is pretty critical. You have to get through 3 and 4 to allow your car to get down the front straightaway."
Roy McCauley (Crew Chief, No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger) "The key to Michigan is handling and being able to go into Turn 3 without being loose, then come off Turn 4 strong for the frontstretch. The nice part about Michigan is that there will be two or three different racing lines available on Sunday, which should make for an exciting race."
Pat Tryson (Crew Chief, No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger) "Good fuel mileage is really important. I'll bet if you look back at the record book, you'll see that a huge proportion of the Michigan races were won because of fuel mileage. The reason for that is simple -- there are always so few cautions on that track. It's so wide and there is so much racing room, you don't see guys running into each other like you do on most of the other tracks."
Answer to Trivia Question: Roseville, Michigan (approximately 97 miles Northeast of MIS). Wild Woody's Chill and Grill created a 5,440 lb. variety meat sandwich on March 17, 2005.
