Waltrip will pilot the No. 83 BK Racing Toyota Camry in the 2016 Daytona 500.
Waltrip, a two-time champion of the Daytona 500 (2001 and 2003), will be backed by Maxwell House during Speedweeks. Veteran crew chief Doug Richert will be on top of the pit box.
He is the third entry for BK Racing and will be teammates with Matt DiBenedetto and David Ragan. In 2015, Ragan drove the No. 55 for the now defunct Michael Waltrip Racing.
This marks his 29th appearance in the Daytona 500, finishing 26th in last year's race.
